About This Game After awakening from her coffin, Arra recalls little but the last words spoken by her father, “Destroy the Amber Throne.” Looking into the sky, she finds what was once his magnificent castle is now floating in the sky, far above the world below. Amber Throne is a traditional JRPG-styled game that focuses on turn-based battling and some light exploration. The game features a large cast of unique monsters that change stances depending on actions taken during combat, and a party with mostly mixed hybrid roles to deal with them. Learning monster behavior and how your skills affect them is essential to reaching victory. Fully painted world with diverse settings and unique characters. Many monsters with multiple stances and behaviors to master. Five party members each with their own skills and advantages. Crafting for the game's best equipment and items. 12-15 hour-long story with optional content and exploration. The game is a bit more atmospheric and ambient than most JRPG-styled games, with emphasis on theme and mood, hopefully making it feel a bit different to experience!ControlsShift to RunArrow Keys to MoveZ / Enter to ConfirmX / Esc For Main Menu Or CancelF5 For FullscreenD+hold For Skipping Dialogue 7aa9394dea Title: The Amber ThroneGenre: Adventure, Casual, Indie, RPGDeveloper:Joshua MissilePublisher:Joshua MissileRelease Date: 6 Jul, 2015 The Amber Throne Download Windows 7 Free First, it can not be understated how beautiful this game is. I adored the watercolor inspired landscapes. The story kept me invovled and had a fairytale quality to it. Each character was uniue. The images and storytelling were enough to forget that the games is an RPG Maker game. There are glitches that occur that will remind you as well as some of the battle mechanics. This did not detract from my overall expereince. My only issues with the game were the map and walking speed. First, the map was just an over view of the entire world. I perfer a map that gives more detail or is helpful when exploring. This map did nothing for me. When exploring you will also find ancient statues that will respawn enemies each time you enter that area. I chose not to activate the statues and I was still able to level-up enough to beat the final section. Now for the walking speed. Yes, you can change the walk from a slow turtle pace to an elderly person with a walker pace. I felt much of the game was me walking slowly. The game is beautiful but I still like to move at a decent pace when trying to backtrack etc.I found this to be a great mix of story and artwork. I doubt it will be a game I replay again but it was worth playing. Thanks.. I have played a lot of RPGs and this one stuck out to me to be one of the best. I love the hand painted characters and backgrounds. The monsters were unique and different from normal rpgs. If I had to put in what I did not like about the game the only things that come to mind would be it was not long enough and at times the enemies seemed overpowered. Other than that I really loved it.. With just a few hours playing (offline so no time displayed) I can safely say that is more to this game then just a beautiful aesthetic. I haven't played a RPG that has reworded exploration in a long while and thankfully the amber throne scratches that itch, if it is off the beaten path expect to be rewarded. Be it through simple items and experience to entire bits of story details about the world. As far as the combat is concerned there is a neat form mechanic that makes combat a little more engaging then standard RPGs. Some enemies have different attributes that can be effected by your parties special moves, ex being if a enemy has Armour use a defense debuff to remove it. I feel that if a game dosent grab your attention almost immediately then it may not be worth it in the end, but thankfully The Amber Throne quickly grabbed mine and hasn't let go.. Just finished my playthrough. Worth every penny.. 10/10Still gaming on it, however, so far, the art is majestic, the music is sublime, and the story is enjoyable. This is truly worth the adventure to The Amber Throne!. The best playable concept art I've ever seen. Also only.. I bought this and Child of Light around the same time (this was awhile ago), and never even bothered picking this up with how sleepy the first made me...but this game blew me away!*PROS*- Lots of secret areas/exploration- Interesting stance-dependant battle system- Amazing art style/direction (everything is cohesive and just meshes together perfectly)- A well-balanced skill system- Great story/lore*CONS*- There were times when I wasn't quite sure where to go - but this game rewards exploration (so it turned out OK)!- Once you accumulate your fourth and fifth party members leveling their skills can be a little bit of a pain.Seriously, with all of the effort the developer must have put into this - just get it!. Very nice game. Combats are sometime challenging. And story is interestings. The main issue of this game: It is too short and there is no second part :(. Beautifully drawn rpg with a really good take on the silent protag, as well as some subtly but still possibly foreseeable plot twists. The way an rpg should be, with enemies having weaknesses, and being able to vary what your characters focus on, whether as a support, or a main attacker
